Audience Satisfaction!

Kirsty Davies. Wow. What a show. Transhumance perfectly takes you through the journey of exploring gender and how it feels to be outside of the binary. Heartwarming, funny and beautiful story. Equal parts absurd and real. Ruth SP. A must see for families! Saw today with my 13 and 6 year old (and husband) and we all loved it. What a genuinely funny, heartfelt & educational performance. What a real skill to share such a poignant message with kids and adults alike without them feeling lectured to. As a parent I felt this was an excellent way to share a message of not having to conform to societies expectations with my impressionable humans, but equally as a audience member I was immersed into this likeable, funny, talented clown’s story, finding myself genuinely pleased for them when they found their way. Please don’t think this isn’t for you- it really is. Go, take the kids and enjoy!! Steve Upstill. Take it from a completely unbiassed parent: Ania has created, and lovingly presents, an innocent, curious and charming show full of heart and deft humour. The clown strips away all the heaviness from the issue of gender norms, gently making fun of the absurdity of normal standards while being thoroughly entertaining and laugh-out-loud funny. Take it from me: the child in Ania is still alive! Gordon Stewart. Amazing show exposing the boundaries of gender construct and social expectations. Well done! E. A wonderful show that lays out the rigidity and discomfort within the gender binary through the innocence of clowning. A joyful and gentle reminder that there is comfort to be found when we are not trying to live up to societal expectations. Ania is a delight to watch and I was rooting for them from start to finish. Heleen. A beautiful, gentle and funny story about finding your space outside the gender binary. Great physical jokes as well as a beautiful atmosphere where the lines between stage and audience blur in wonderful moments of coming together. Laurie #SomeOtherMirror. A fun, frothy queer A fun, frothy, queer show, delightful and a great way to start your day! Charlie Lyerly. Truly an incredible performance. At first, I was skeptical of a clown show, but Ania is an incredible performer who has created an impactful and heartwarming story. It was hilarious and impressive how they interact with the audience and draw them into their story, and the story itself explores thought provoking themes about gender (for example what it means to be a man or woman in society) that presented a new perspective. I love how they use every aspect of the space around them to tell their story (I especially loved the use of music), and think it was just all around an incredible show. Would highly recommend, even if clowns aren't your thing.
